Charfield is a rural parish and a village of about a thousand homes, located on the border between the counties of South Gloucestershire and Gloucestershire. Close enough to the M5 motorway to make commuting feasible, and yet far enough away to retain a countryside feel, Charfield lies on the English side of the River Severn between Bristol and Gloucester, close by the Cotswold market town of Wotton Under Edge.
