Gloucestershire’s Climate March started from the Subscription Rooms in Stroud and marched up to Rodborough Sports Field. Numbers were said to be around 600, although I suspect as ever this figure was gently massaged… nevertheless you can see how long the cortege was as it meandered through the town and up the hill…

The scarf that formed the heart is part of the Peace Scarf from the Wool against Weapons initiative, that even contains a small bit of Janet’s knitting handiwork! Some of us had a tougher walk up the hill than others, but then what fool of fifty some years thinks he’s still twenty and goes out for a morning jog? Learned my lesson, that’s for sure. Pass the doughnuts.
