Rome view of Gasometer

Yes, a strange thing to feature in a hotel window view… but somehow it’s not only not ugly, it’s quite picturesque in an industrial sort of way. I had a manager at the CEGB who said that electricity pylons were architectural sculptures and people should pay to view them. Maybe I see where he was coming from… Anyhow, this is the view from the H10 hotel in Rome, on a wet spring morning.
