The Way of Wyrd by Brian Bates.

I was reminded of this book as we were looking into selecting potential speakers for the second TDN Conference in November. I borrowed this book off an old friend back in (opens dust-jacket…2003) and one day I’ll give it back to him – honest (thanks Ian). A great read, part academic part story, of the between time as Christianity stole into our pagan Anglo-Saxon countryside… written way back in the mists of 1983, back then it was a revolutionary read; and still is.
