Yep, bish is back from sailing. The Force 9 didn’t, in the end, materialise… but with winds in the mid-thirty knots we bounced around the fleet of thirty six (I think) 37′ yachts through Saturday and Sunday in the ISC Winter Series. Up against much better boats we won’t be sailing in the heat (heat – ha!) next week, finishing somewhere in the top third but nowhere near the top four who get to go on. We did come second of the Nat Grid boats; beaten only by the Corporate team, and unlike some we returned our sieve of a boat to the pontoon in one piece. But now, morning after, my whole battered body is telling me “you’re too old for all this shit!” LOL Until next time.
