Has to be concert of the year, perhaps the decade. What a buzz! Just goes to show the old ‘uns can still rock the house. Many of these guys are seventy plus, including the lady Miss estimated to be in her mid-thirties! Buena Vista Social Club, named after the club they played at, hit the world ten years ago, discovered in their native Cuba by Ry Cooder. By the end of the two hour set most folk were on their feet, and the aisles were filled with dancers. The two encores were taken with everyone standing, dancing, clapping and grinning their heads off. Pure Awen.
